Setting up your social links

Adding your social links to your Ko-fi page helps fans learn more about you, follow your work, and stay up to date across all your platforms. You can add up to 15 links, including social profiles and custom URLs.

 

How to add a social link

You can add a link to Instagram, X, YouTube, or any other site you use! Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Profile settings.

  2. Scroll to Your social links.

  3. Add the link to your social profile or website, then tap Save.

  4. That’s it! Your link will appear in the About section on your profile.

  Tip

Make sure your link starts with “https://”. If a supported site’s icon doesn’t appear or the link doesn’t work, check for typos or missing parts of the URL.

Custom links or unrecognized sites will show a standard link icon. If you add several custom links, they’ll appear in a drop-down menu.

 

Removing a social link

To remove an icon or URL from your profile:

  1. Go to your Profile settings.

  2. Scroll to Your social links.

  3. Select Remove next to the link you want to delete.

  4. Click Confirm to remove the link from your page, then Save.

If the wrong link is still showing, remove the link and save your changes. Then refresh your page and add the correct link.

  Note

If you connect your X, Twitch, or YouTube account to Ko-fi, those links will be set for you automatically. If you later unlink one of these accounts, the icon won’t be removed, so you’ll need to update or delete the link yourself.

How many social links can I have?

You can add up to 15 social links. Feel free to include all your social profiles and any custom sites you want to share!

 

Which social sites show an icon?

Ko-fi supports icons for many popular social and creative platforms. These sites will show their logo on your profile when set:

  • Threads
  • Facebook
  • X
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Tumblr
  • Reddit
  • Twitch
  • TikTok
  • Medium
  • GitHub
  • Bluesky
  • Discord
  • Spotify
  • Pinterest
  • Dailymotion
  • Vimeo
  • SoundCloud
  • Mixcloud
  • Kickstarter
  • Google Maps
  • Google Drive
  • CodePen
  • Flickr
  • Dropbox
  • Mastodon
  • LinkedIn

All other links will show as a custom URL icon.

My social profile is not showing!

Make sure you’re putting in the full link (including “https://”) to your profile, not just the username.

Note that certain sites may be blocked from being added. It’s important to make sure all links on Ko-fi follow our web linking rules.

  Tip

For sites like Bluesky, you will need to use the full link to your profile rather than just the handle.
