Contributor status

Unlike other services, Ko-fi lets you take donations with zero platform fees. Being a Contributor helps to support Ko-fi’s development while unlocking some great perks to help you grow!

 

What is a Ko-fi Contributor?

A Ko-fi Contributor is someone who shares 5% of their donation income with Ko-fi. This small contribution helps keep Ko-fi running while ensuring creators can still keep more of what they earn compared to other platforms.

 

How to turn on/off Contributor status

You can opt-in or out of being a Contributor really easily:

  1. Go to Settings > Payment
  2. Toggle Contributor on or off
  3. That’s it! You can cancel anytime.

 

What do I get for being a Contributor?

Aside from supporting Ko-fi, Contributors get tons of exclusive perks to help them grow and customize their Ko-fi page:

  • Choose a custom theme color – Make your page truly yours.
