Why are shipping options showing up in PayPal for my Ko-fi payments?

When you receive payments through Ko‑fi, you might notice PayPal asking for shipping information or showing shipping options.

This is a normal PayPal security measure. It sometimes happens if your account is new, you’ve received an unusually large payment, or there’s a sudden increase in activity. It’s PayPal’s way of confirming that transactions are legitimate and helping protect both you and your supporters.

If you’re only receiving digital payments or tips, don’t worry, you don’t need to add anything here. It’s optional and won’t affect your payments if you leave the shipping details blank.
