How do I activate my account?
To make the most of Ko-fi, you need to activate your account. If things don’t go as planned, like a missing email, an expired link, or getting stuck halfway don’t worry. This guide will help you sort it out and get back on track in no time.
My verification link doesn’t work or has expired
Verification links expire after a while to keep your account secure. If your link isn’t valid, you might see this error:
If this happens, here’s what to do:

Enter the verification code manually
- Open your email from Ko-fi@ko-fi.com with the subject line ‘Confirm Your Email.’
- Copy the code in the email.
- Go to the Ko-fi activation page and enter the code.
Your account should now be activated. 🎉

Resend the verification email
- Go to the Ko-fi activation page to send a new code.
- You’ll get a new email with a link to activate your account. Just click ‘Activate Account’ as normal.

If the previous code hasn’t been used, you might receive the same one.

I can’t find the activation page
If you can’t find the activation page, no problem!
- If you’re a Creator: Log in again with your email and password. The activation prompt will reappear so you can activate your account.
- If you’re a Supporter: Log in with your email and password, then go to Payments & Orders. The activation page will appear, and you can activate your account from there.
Your account should now be activated. 🎉

I’m not receiving verification emails
If you’re not receiving verification emails, try these steps:
- Check the email displayed for any typos or an incorrect domain. You can also check your Account & Billing to confirm your account email.
- Search for emails from Ko-fi@ko-fi.com or look for the subject line ‘Confirm Your Email.’
- Check your junk or spam folder, as emails can sometimes end up there.
