Resetting your password

Forgot your password? Password resets can be done by following these steps:

1. Click or tap the Forgot password option on the login page.
   
    
2. Enter the Ko-fi handle/username or the email address linked to the Ko-fi page to receive the reset link.
   
    

3. Look for an email with the subject "Your Password Reset Link" from Ko-fi@ko-fi.com.

   

4. Use the link provided in the email to redirect to the password change screen. Change the password and regain access to the Ko-fi page.

   

What to do if the password reset link doesn't arrive

Creators who haven't received their reset link can try these steps:

1. Check that the reset link isn't in the spam/junk folder.
2. Confirm that the email address the reset link is being sent to is the one linked to the Ko-fi page. It's typically the address that already receives emails from Ko-fi.
3. If the link still hasn't arrived, please submit a support ticket for assistance.

What to do if the password reset link shows an error page

If a creator opens their reset link and sees the error message "Oops. We hit a small glitch. We'll fix it as soon as we possibly can.", they can try opening the reset link in another browser or on another device.

How to reset a password when logging in with Twitter, Twitch, Google, or Facebook

Creators who log in with Twitter, Twitch, Google, or Facebook can still reset their Ko-fi password.

A creator's Ko-fi page is linked to the email address they use to log in to that social account. They can request a password reset for their Ko-fi page, and the reset link will be sent to that email address.
